Plot
The number of disappearances within Japan has recently begun to rise, with no one having a solid idea as to why the disappearances are occurring, people are jumping to strange theories and rumors to satisfy their want for an explanation. The most prominent of these rumors is the tale of "PSYREN". According to the internet, currently the most easily accessed and abundant source for information involving this matter, PSYREN is a secret society that will lead those who are sick of the Earth's current society.
Of course, the idea of PSYREN is considered simple propaganda and anyone who seems to truly believe in it is treated as a strange individual. Little does Japan, and by extension, the world, know that their future is dependent on this "Rumor". Which is more than just a rumor. PSYREN is real, and it is far more dangerous than just a Nihilistic congregation. The world is in danger and PSYREN is it's one chance to save itself, whether the world knows it or not. Only those that have knowledge of the danger will survive. Only "The Wise" will live.
